Principles of Spiritual Warfare

Open to all students who may register for a 7 week class on Spiritual Warfare. You are required to buy Mike Hoke’s recently published book “The Ehud Anointing: Seven Principles of Spiritual Warfare, 2nd Edition.
You will be expected to read one chapter of the book each week and come to the zoom room ready to discuss and apply the principle covered. On the eighth week the anointing discussed will be imparted to each student. Honest sharing and meaningful prayer will be a large part of the two hour ekklesia/ecclesia session.

Kingdom Prophets by Chad Forth
In this course we will be looking at the kingdom prophet. We will look at God’s kingdom, the role of the kingdom prophet, and discussing the different types of prophetic gifts by studying James Goll’s book “The Seer”. Rediscovering the Kingdom of God
Open to all students. Students will be required to purchase one book for the course: “Rediscovering The Kingdom” Expanded Edition, by Myles Munroe. There will be no weekly videos and no in class PowerPoint for this Class.
Students will be given a reading assignment in the textbook each week. Students will come into the Zoom Room prepared to engage in the discussion of the reading. There will be an application and activation each week. Students will share their lives with one another and the Class will pray for one another. We will meet for two hours each week for eight weeks. Essentially, this will be an online Ekklesia with the Bible Study…The Kingdom of God.

I was so blessed by participating in OKM 70×7 class. This class opened my eyes and heart to understanding how to forgive others and myself. Before this class, I believed that saying a routine prayer forgiving others was enough, but that didn’t satisfy my soul.
I learned that in order to give my soul peace regarding forgiveness; I needed to prepare my heart by opening it, extending compassion, releasing people from my inner heart prison, forgiving them (and myself for my part) and asking for blessings for the person. This process was used for every trespass, not just a blanket prayer.
This wasn’t an easy process as I had to review (with God’s help) my life and all the people I held unforgiveness against. This involved reviewing hurts and pains caused by others and then seeing their side with compassion. As I went through my lengthy list of people the process grew easier with God and my heart felt lighter and free. Praise God. God continues to bring people to mind now and I want to immediately go through this process and remove the sin. Oh what a gracious God we have. God was so close to me, He never left me as He promises and held my hand when going through forgiveness for myself and others. I feel such a burden being lifted and closer to our loving God.
I highly recommend this class for everyone. At age 72, I have never been taught anything like this and I am sure many people are struggling with unforgiveness because they don’t have guidelines for getting peace from true forgiveness.

Bio: Steve Simms experienced Jesus in a powerful way in the Jesus Movement of the early 1970s through encountering a loose, mostly unplanned and Spirit-led, weekly Christian gathering on his college campus and has carried a desire for that kind of Spirit-led meetings ever since. He graduated from seminary and was ordained hoping to spread Spirit-led church meetings in his denomination and in non denominational churches, but his passion to let the Spirit-lead was not well received. After decades of searching for a door open to the Spirit, The Salvation Army asked Steve and his wife Ernie to start a nontraditional Salvation Army corps (church) and approved of a Spirit-led meeting style of open sharing based on 1 Corinthians 14:26 rather than the traditional, sermon-based format. For ten years The Salvation Army supported and encouraged Steve and Ernie as they let the Spirit lead until a new local leader single-handedly shut it down. Steve wrote Beyond Church to share his and Ernie’s spiritual journey and the practical lessons they gained and powerful experiences they had watching God speak through and use ordinary people every Sunday morning.
