It took me 17 yrs to found out about the ekklesia home church groups & the 501c3 church status. I found a movie on the Trump Prophesy (1st book) by Mark Taylor and started to do more research, etc…one link leads to another and I found about equipping the home groups. Its a confirmation to me what Megan is saying about the body of Christ in a church setting and the stuff that goes on that I seen heard and experienced personally that had me say to Jesus “is there a church without all this garbage that goes on behind the scenes with all the legalistic controls and how they are blind to how much gossip goes on and immoral actions get swept under the rug”. I did ask the Jesus what else is there for me besides going to a church. Its all I only know. That its not a building, its fellowship with other believers and iron sharing each other and discipling, and sharing God’s love.
I am a bookkeeper, I manage people businesses. I have worked for many 501c3 corporations, churches, and ministries. It all makes so much sense to me now since I divorced myself from the BAAL system. I get it… I feel I was allowed to go through all this stuff in the church for a reason to bring me into this place of finding the TRUTH which will set me free! I plan on doing this one day too meeting others who are like minded and have seen and heard the truth because I can’t say the churches I knew are willing to make the changes right now, praying they will one day do what is right in God’s eyes not the governmental system control headship but JESUS headship.
